After teaching English as a foreign language in Turkey for several years, I returned to the UK and decided to change career and build on earlier interests in IT, film, photography and publishing.

I did short courses in Dreamweaver and HTML, volunteered as Haverfordwest Film Society's webmaster for several years, completed a PG Dip in Interactive Media (as part of a course run by Welsh media training body Cyfle), then spent a year working as a Web Designer/Developer for thinkingaustralia.com.

I have been working for Royal Holloway, University of London since 2006. Initially I was the Webmaster & IT Officer for the School of Management, and in 2012 I was promoted to IT Support Analyst for the faculty.
